Our Recruitment Process

Thank you for your interest in IDS. We are so pleased you would like to apply for a role with us and want to help you as much as possible throughout the recruitment process.

Step 1 – Apply

Submit your CV and personal details to a role or by using our talent bank for job alerts

Step 2 – Shortlisting

If your profile, skills, experience and qualifications match the requirements of a role we are looking to recruit you will be shortlisted.

Step 3 – Call with the Recruitment Business Partner

If your application is shortlisted, you will receive an email inviting you to a call. This is an informal conversation with our Recruitment Business Partner, who can give you more information on the company and the role. They will also ask about your experience.

Step 4 – 1st Stage Interview

If you are invited to progress to this stage, you will meet with the department manager and a HR Business partner for a competency-based interview. This can be in person or online using MS Teams.

Step 5 – Personality Profiling Assessment

Following a successful first stage interview, we ask all candidates to complete a short online assessment which gives us an insight to your preferred working style.

Step 6 – Second Stage Interview

All candidates at this stage are assessed on their technical ability relating to specific requirements in the role. This stage usually takes place on site with a tour and an opportunity to meet other team members in the department.
