Anti-Phospholipid Syndrome

A fully automated assay panel for aiding the diagnosis of the anti-phospholipid syndrome through quality and efficiency immunoassays

Anti-phospholipid syndrome (APS) is a disorder of the immune system that causes an increased risk of blood clots in arteries and veins, as well as pregnancy related complications such as miscarriages.

In APS anti-phospholipid antibodies react with anionic proteins binding phospholipids in the plasma membrane – initiating coagulation4.

APS can be definitively diagnosed in the presence of at least one clinical criterion and one laboratory criterion 1,2,3.

Our anti-phopholipd syndrome panel panel enables laboratories to assess APS in line with international consensus guidelines through enhanced quality and workflow efficacy immunoassays for antibodies which can occur in different combinations in APS patients1,2,3:

  • Anti-ß2-Glycoptein I IgG
  • Anti-ß2-Glycoptein I IgM
  • Anti-Cardiolipin IgG
  • Anti-Cardiolipin IgM
