This Privacy Notice explains what personal information we have collected, how we use it and what your rights are. The B2B Data Privacy Notice does not apply to processing of employee, worker or contractor personal data within IDS, which is subject to a separate privacy notice available through internal company systems. Who we are
IDS are a specialist in endocrinology testing, focusing on Clinical and Research Assays. We use direct email marketing to help our businesses grow.
Why we have contacted you
We have contacted you to provide information relating to the availability of rapid test assays for detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen (the causative agent of COVID-19) and how having access to such a test may be useful to you in order to help prevent spread of the virus to your workplace.
The data that we hold
We hold name and business contact details of prospective customers, such as corporate email address, telephone number and company address. The GDPR classes a person’s name as personal data. The email address, if it includes your name, is also classed as personal data.

Where does the data come from?
We have purchased a database from a third-party data supplier called UK Marketing Management Ltd and its data suppliers which contains corporate email addresses of persons who may be interested in purchasing our products on behalf of the company they are employed by.
What do we do with the data?
We will use the data to carry out direct B2B email marketing. The lawful basis we use for this processing is “Legitimate Interest” for “direct marketing.”

We have offices and operations in a number of international locations and we share information between our group companies for business and administrative purposes.
