Immunodiagnostic Systems plc (IDS) is a dynamic SME, dedicated to the development and provision of innovative tests for use in clinical and research laboratories worldwide, which has achieved high double digit growth in sales and profit for the past five years.

Having achieved a dominant position in speciality endocrine diagnostics, they are now extending their reach into the fully automated specialist immunoassay market with the introduction of the IDS-iSYS analyser. They have direct sales operations in six countries and a global distributor network. The group marketing function is based at their headquarters near Newcastle.

They are currently looking to recruit three key individuals who will help shape and drive their global marketing capability. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative company at an exciting stage in their development.

Product Managers (x2)

Reporting into the Group Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing a specific product category, focused on increasing market share for existing products and developing innovative new products. You will also be responsible for planning throughout the product lifecycle; including collating competitor information and developing marketing support and materials for the products and sales function. You will work closely with R&D, defining product specifications, marketing support and market research

You will have experience in the following areas:

• Educated with BSc scientific qualification (or overseas equivalent)

• Recent relevant experience within one of the following areas: IVD, Endocrine, Immunoassays, automated instrumentation as used in laboratory diagnostics

• Proven track record in product management

• Ability to speak French is desirable
